Ohio Land Auctions

Land is hard to price and slow to sell the old way. An auction lets serious buyers show you what the ground is worth, on a date we set together.

Land doesn’t have a bedroom count or a square-foot price you can lean on. Every parcel is a little different: road frontage, soil, timber, access, utilities, what the neighbors are doing. That’s exactly why a listing price is so often a guess, and why land can sit for months while the price drops a little at a time.

I specialize in land and non-traditional real estate across Ohio. When we auction your property, we pick a sale date, market the ground locally, statewide and nationally through Auction Ohio, and let competitive bidding set the price. You know the timeline from the start, and you’re not negotiating against a buyer’s “maybe.”

I stay your direct point of contact the whole way. You’ll hear from me when the property goes live, when bidding starts, and at every step to closing.

Land Auctions: common questions

What kinds of land do you auction?

Vacant acreage, wooded parcels, development ground, rural lots and farm ground. If it’s land in Ohio and it’s hard to price, it’s a good conversation to have.

Do I pay a commission to sell my land at auction?

Sellers pay no commission. The commission is paid by the buyer through the buyer’s premium, so you’re responsible for the usual closing costs.

How long does it take to sell land at auction?

Auctions run on a defined timeline that we set with you. The point is that you know the date from day one instead of waiting on a listing.
