Selling Inherited or Estate Property in Ohio: Is Auction Right?

When a loved one passes, the property often falls to family members who are grieving, far away, and short on time. An auction can help by giving the sale a clear path.

Why estates often choose auction

An estate often needs a defined timeline. Taxes, upkeep and utilities keep running while a property sits. An auction sets a date, and the sale is as-is, so families don’t have to repair, stage or clean out first unless they choose to.

Working with the estate’s attorney

The legal requirements for selling estate real estate depend on your situation, so I always encourage working closely with the estate’s attorney. I’m glad to work alongside them and the family so that everyone understands the process.

Treating the property with respect

This is someone’s home and someone’s history. My approach is built on integrity, honesty and clear communication, and I stay in touch through every step of the process.

Getting started

A first conversation is free. Tell me about the property and what the family needs, and I’ll tell you honestly whether auction is the right fit.
